The FA or Falcon is sometimes confused with the FA nib on the model 912. This pen is not a flex nib pen. The 912 has the flex. Both are great nibs but differ in that the Falcon pen and nib is a soft nib that allows line variation and comes in soft fine, medium or broad but it will not give as much as a 912 FA actual flex nib.
